Hands-On Care, Thoughtfully Guided

Baby Steps is a 10-day newborn care experience designed for tiny humans ages 0-3 mos.

Program Structure:

  • Monday-Friday (no holiday or weekend availability at this time)

  • 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Two-week enrollment blocks totaling 10 days

  • Option to extend up to 4 weeks for total of 20 days

  • Clear start and end dates for each enrollment period

  • Limited availability to maintain quality care

  • 2-3 newborns per enrollment period (varies based on number of special vs typical need infants)

  • Open to typical infants (routine newborn care at birth), NICU Graduates, and infants with special needs

  • Care is in my living room; Calm, clean, pet-free environment

  • Babies rest in safe, certified bassinets during scheduled sleep periods, and I provide attentive, hands-on feeding and diapering. A calming swing is available for settling awake babies.

  • One consistent and experienced RN-licensed caregiver (myself)

  • Care tailored to each newborn

  • Ongoing alignment with parent preferences and goals set during intake call

  • Parental education and guidance offered as needed

  • Clear, daily communications with parents using the Baby Steps Care Log (videos and photos per preference)

At 2-12 weeks postpartum, exhaustion peaks, feeding issues may arise, ER and Urgent Care visits are more common, families are transitioning between caregivers or going back to work. Baby Steps is here to support you during these chaotic times!
